Matweld’s E7018-1, a low hydrogen-controlled electrode, comes in a 2.50mm diameter and weighs 4kg. It’s designed for welding in all positions, offering low spatter and excellent re-strike characteristics. This electrode is ideal for welding C-Mn and low alloy steels requiring X-ray examination. Ensure a minimum AC open circuit voltage of 70 Volts and preheat at 180C/50F for 2 hours before use.
