It is designed for use on wood surfaces that may come into contact with food, making it a practical cleaning step before applying a food-grade conditioner, cutting board oil or protective wax.
The cleaner helps remove everyday residue and neutralise odours from well-used wooden kitchen items. It uses the natural cleaning properties of coconut soap and lemon oil to safely clean wood without harsh chemicals that can weaken wood fibres. This makes it ideal for ongoing maintenance of chopping boards, butcher blocks, serving boards and wooden utensils that need regular care.
Howard Cutting Board Cleaner helps keep wooden kitchen items looking good, smelling fresh and lasting longer. To use, rinse the board or butcher block with warm water, apply the cleaner with a clean damp sponge and scrub until a lather forms. Rinse clean, towel dry and allow the wood to air dry completely.
