The Coarse Non-Woven Flap Disc is a versatile abrasive tool designed for surface conditioning and finishing tasks. Unlike a standard flap disc with abrasive cloth flaps, this one features layers of non-woven material. This material, often made of nylon or synthetic fibers, is impregnated with abrasive grains and bonded with a resin.
The 115x22 dimensions, makes it compatible with most standard angle grinders. The COARSE grade indicates a more aggressive cutting action, making it ideal for removing burrs, rust, paint, and other surface imperfections while simultaneously creating a uniform, satin finish without the deep scratches often left by traditional abrasive discs. It's particularly effective on stainless steel and other metals where a consistent finish is desired.
