Grinding wheel - Ø 20mm
The wheel is made of bonded Silicon Carbide and has a distinctive light green colour.
It has a very high abrasive power and is mostly used on mineral based materials - stone, porcelain, ceramic, glass etc.

It can also be used on non-ferrous metals, such as aluminium, copper, brass

Application:

- Sharpening chisels, knife edges cutting tools and more.
- Removes sharp edges on cut metal parts.
- Refines contours in metal or stone.
- Removes rust, weld spatter, and surface coating.
- Ceramics: 20 000 - 30 000 RPM
- Glass: 20 000 - 30 000 RPM
- Stonework: 20 000 - 25 000 RPM
Grinding non-ferrous metals tend to gall and clog up the grinding point. It is recommended to make use of a stone dresser TC08424 to clean it up, should it become clogged.
