Tin Snip Straight & Tight cuts Right - Green handle
Tin snips are hand-held cutting tools, also known as shears.
Designed to cut sheet metal:
- Aluminium - 1.6mm
- Cold rolled sheet metal - 1.2mm
- Galvanised sheet metal - 1.2mm
- Stainless steel - 0.7mm
There are various snips available, depending on the cutting style:
- Yellow handle - Straight cuts and wide curves
- Red handle - Straight cuts and tight curves to the left
- Green handle - Straight cuts and tight curves to the right
